Is Nick Kyrgios' taunt at Federer a sign of confidence or just plain disrespect?

Things are bound to go beyond everyone’s expectations when Nick Kyrgios takes the stage. He has established a brotherhood with Novak Djokovic, making sure to mince no words in retaliating to the critics. And this time, he hit two birds with one stone, as he suggested a little something to the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. As he takes an indirect shot at Roger Federer, he tries to charm the princess!

The Duchess is back at Wimbledon in what is her 2nd public appearance is since her cancer diagnosis. While her elegant look and strong dedication to her duties charmed everyone, Kyrgios loves to do things the other way around. He took to the opportunity to try to charm the Duchess herself with his bad boy ways in hopes of taking over Roger Federer’s charisma.

In a post shared by Metro, Kyrgios is seen donning a sharp look as he offered to coach the Princess of Wales instead of the 20-time Grand Slam champion, Federer. He said, “‘It’ll be more fun being coached by me than it would by [Roger] Federer”.Though whether the charm worked or not is unclear, he sure did not leave any stone unturned, making it a fun evening for everyone with his boastful ways. But Wimbledon and Federer are synonyms and no Wimbledon talk would be complete without the 8-time Grand Slam champion featuring in it.

It was back in 2023 when Federer stepped on the Grass court in his tennis gear with a racquet in his hand to train ball boys and girls. However, it was not just the kids who were eager to learn from the 8-time grass champion but the Princess of Wales herself. Moreover, she even won against the former World No.1 with an “amazing” winning shot! However, there is little hope for the bad boy Kyrgios, as London would always stand behind Federer. Fret not, he has some semblance to rely upon in his bond with Djokovic.
