Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios is currently playing at the Miami Open. He has reached the second round after his straight-sets win over Adrian Mannarino in his tournament opener. Previously, he reached the quarter-finals at the Indian Wells Masters, losing to Rafael Nadal in an incredible match. The crowd was particularly vocal during Kyrgios’ intriguing clash against Nadal. The 26-year-old Australian could not resist after being provoked by the crowd as he exchanged a few foul words with them. In the latest news, Nick Kyrgios has been fined by the ATP for around $25,000. He received a $20,000 fine for throwing his racket that almost hit a ball boy after his match against Rafael Nadal, which is the maximum for any single infraction. Then, he got a $5,000 fine for an audible obscenity.?

Notably, the match had plenty of drama, as the crowd was constantly shouting during the match. At one point, the chair umpire had to yell at one member of the crowd. Also, Nick got himself engaged in friendly banter with film star Ben Stiller, at one point. Despite all that, the match lived up to its expectations, as the level of tennis was incredible.?

Meanwhile, Nick actually apologized to the ball kid on his Instagram after the match. As he caught up the kid and decided to gift him a racket the next day.?

A tough second-round match for Kyrgios in Miami
After beating Adrian Mannarino in a tricky match in the first round at the Miami Open, Nick Kyrgios will face the no.5 seed Andrey Rublev in the second round. Undoubtedly, this will be a tough match for the Aussie player, as Rublev is in pretty good form.?
