Nick Kyrgios, who is known for his blunt demeanor, has lately been involved in an online tennis feud with the German tennis veteran Boris Becker. Fighting over the two different tennis eras, the ‘bad boy of tennis’ has once again issued another candid take to add fuel to the fire.

The feud between the tennis stars started when the Aussie asserted that modern-day players would “destroy” their counterparts from previous eras. Reacting to the ongoing beef between Kyrgios and Becker, a fan recently lashed out at the former for his disrespectful remarks. However, the controversial tennis player has now come forward to shut down the fan as he continues his seemingly never-ending feud with Becker.

After Kyrgios’ candid comments about the yesteryear legends, the German tennis veteran opened up about how every player needs to ‘respect the past of our sport.’ Without the participation of seasoned players, Becker claimed that the tennis circus would not have thrived.  The 6-time singles Grand Slam champion also said that the amount of money up for grabs has never been higher, largely thanks to these former tennis pros.

Returning the serve in his off-court fight, Kyrgios recently tweeted, “Bro what 😂😂😂 I’ve been one of the FEW PLAYERS that have brought million more fans to the sport and have made more money for everyone 😂”. Speaking about the tennis documentary ‘Break Point’ streaming on Netflix, the Aussie added, “NETFLIX…. Don’t remember seeing Boris on there 😂 guy is ridiculous.”

However, the Aussie’s remarks didn’t sit well with a fan, who lambasted him in the comments section for mentioning his appearance in the Netflix series.

The user commented, “This guy is now flexing Break Point on Netflix over Boris f*cking Becker. BORIS BECKER. I’m sure that all 6 people who watched it would agree.”

It received a quick response from Kyrgios himself as he said, “6 people? I swear it’s impossible to have a conversation with people these days 😂 you aren’t even honest lol, I’m not ‘flexing’ it I’m just stating facts. Potato. Everytime I speak facts, people get upset, including spuds like you.”
