Why Kyrgios’ parents asked him to stick to tennis
Kyrgios loved basketball more than tennis when he was a youngster. He used to play both sports but eventually left throwing hoops for smashing forehands down the line. “And then that was I guess, that was a defining moment because ever since that coach said that. And I guess they kind of saw me as the person in the family to eventually you know, try and make it and help them out and help the family out.”
