Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has had a mixed season in 2022 so far. After winning the Grand Slam in doubles at the Australian Open, the Aussie star had some good results on the tour during the hard court season.?

After missing the clay-court action, the player recently made his return at the Stuttgart Open to prepare for Wimbledon. Then, he also played in the Halle Open. Surprisingly, he has put on some outstanding performances in both those tournaments as he reached the semis in both. As a result, he will move up in the ATP rankings, which is a great news for the Australian.
Nick Kyrgios enters the top 50 in the ATP rankings
Yesterday, the 27-year-old Aussie player lost in the semi-final against Hubert Hurkacz at Halle in a tough three-set encounter. After 2 hours and 4 minutes of outstanding tennis, Kyrgios lost the battle to the Polish star by 6-4, 6-7, 6-7. Even though Kyrgios lost the match, he played an outstanding match.

Meanwhile, with a series of good results on the grass court, the Australian player will enter the top 50 in the ATP rankings this Monday. Incidentally, this will be the first time in 15 months that Kyrgios will return to the top 50.

Can Kyrgios cause some massive upsets at Wimbledon 2022?
In 2014, the Aussie tennis star achieved his best result at Wimbledon, as he reached the quarter-final. In the same tournament, he shocked the entire world by beating Rafael Nadal in the round of 16. Certainly, he has the ability to cause some massive upsets in the upcoming Grand Slam event.
