Nick Kyrgios, the controversial Australian tennis player, recently shared the exciting news on his Instagram story. The Aussie hinted at a possible match with Novak Djokovic at the upcoming Indian Wells. Kyrgios answered a fan’s query during an interaction on his social media profile.
Even while their relationship throughout the years may have been tense, Kyrgios today claims that it is more like a bromance. In 2020, due to the pandemic, the Masters 1000 competition was postponed. Fans now are excited to see the Aussie play along with the Nole.

In 2019, Kyrgios stirred up controversy on a podcast when he called Novak Djokovic tacky and implied that he was driven by a compulsive need to be loved. However, as the years passed, the two tennis players shared a remarkable bond. The Australian has once said that the two of them are now so cordial that they even message one another on social media.
When Djokovic heard Kyrgios’ remark, he grinned. The Nole abruptly declares that he is unsure whether he can yet refer to it as a brotherhood. He added, though, that their connection is unquestionably better now than it was in January of this year. Kyrgios shared the exciting news during an interactive Q&A session with his fans on his Instagram story.

A fan had posted a query on the Insta session of Kyrgios. The fan had written,” The Nov-ick Bromance is mode ON.” Kyrgios was quick to reply in an affirmative tone. Kyrgios wrote on his Insta story, “If Novak is allowed in the USA we are playing doubles at INDIAN WELLS 👀👀👀 y’all ready?” The Indian Wells event in Southern California this March will not require participants or spectators to show proof of COVID-1immunizationon before entry.
If Kyrgios had been playing someone other than Djokovic, he believed he would have won. At Wimbledon, Kyrgios and Djokovic got into a match in his maiden Grand Slam final. Despite the Aussie’s superb service throughout the entire final, Djokovic was still able to prevail 4-6 6-3 6-4 7-6. (3).

Kyrgios and Djokovic miss out on playing at a recent match in Dubai
Recently, the Serbian withdrew from a match against Kyrgios in Dubai. Grigor Dimitrov replaced Djokovic as Team Falcons’ opponent against Kyrgios’ Team Eagles after Djokovic abruptly withdrew from the match. Dimitrov defeated Kyrgios 7-6 (5), 6-3, pulling off a big upset.
