Nick Kyrgios picks the most talented player on the ATP tour
Earlier, during a Q & A session on Instagram, a fan asked Kyrgios, “Who is the most talented player on the tour without being you?” In reply to that question, Kyrgios posted a picture of him and Jack Sock and tagged the American player in that Instagram story.
Notably, Kyrgios and Sock played some doubles together, particularly during the Laver Cup over the years. Safe to say, they always brought extra energy along with pure entertainment during their matches.
Meanwhile, Sock’s career didn’t quite flourish despite possessing an immense amount of talent. During his junior days, he won the US Open boy’s singles titles in 2010. Many thought he would become the next big thing in American tennis. In terms of his singles career, his Grand Slam record has not been very good.
However, he achieved some great things in both doubles and mixed doubles. He won his first Grand Slam title in the mixed doubles in the 2011 US Open. Then, he went on to win the Wimbledon doubles title in 2014 and in 2018. In 2018, he won the US Open doubles title as well. His biggest singles win came at the Paris Masters when he won the title in 2017. In terms of rankings, he achieved no.8 in the singles in 2018 and in doubles, his highest career ranking in no.2.
