The Australian tennis sensation, known for his unabashed approach on and off the court, recently answered a fan’s question about handling haters. The conversation happened on Instagram, where Kyrgios is famous for his humorous and occasionally controversial comments.
Nick Kyrgios is known for his extravagant lifestyle outside of the tennis world. Therefore, when it comes to dealing with critics, he chose his lavish lifestyle in a quirky way to use it against the question posed to him.

Nick Kyrgios hits back at the haters by using his house in the Bahamas
In an honest and candid exchange, a follower asked Nick Kyrgios on Instagram how he handles the unrelenting scrutiny from his critics. “How do you deal with so many haters?” the question went. Kyrgios answered back instantly, showcasing his signature mix of confidence and humor: “I show them pictures of my house in the Bahamas.” Instead of giving in to criticism or getting into arguments, Kyrgios chooses a tactful yet effective way to show off his lavish lifestyle.

Nick Kyrgios has a stunning house in the Bahamas, which is primarily his vacation spot. He spends time with his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, and their social media is populated with pictures from the island. Apart from that, he owns a residence in Canberra as well and another penthouse suite in Sydney. But his Bahamas residence is probably the favorite, as with many other athletes.
The Caribbean country is considered a tax haven because of its incredibly low income tax rates. Kyrgios may be a patriotic Australian but the Bahamas seem to have a soft spot in his heart.

However, while answering this particular question of the follower, he chose to show off his vacation house in the Bahamas. But this is not the first time that he has mentioned his beautiful residence. Two years ago, Kyrgios opened up about his house in another Instagram comment.
Kyrgios wants to “sit and do nothing” in his Bahamian house
In 2022, Nick Kyrgios participated in a question-and-answer session on Instagram after his US Open tournament. There, he answered whether he would like to see himself playing past his 30th birthday. In response, he said, “Honestly, probably not. I wanna be able to not be bothered; probs gonna go to my house in the Bahamas and just sit and do nothing.”

Kyrgios has not addressed retirement rumors with concrete answers and has yet to play in 2024. The 28-year-old player’s last Grand Slam tournament match was a quarter-final loss to Karen Khachanov at the 2022 US Open. Although fans have not seen Nick Kyrgios play in his best form in the last two years, his occasional quirky comments surely entertained them.
