Wimbledon 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios is having a great year. The 27-year-old had a dream grass-court season and backed it up with a decent performance in the US Open as well. Recently he did well to reach the quarterfinals of the Japan Open. However, he opted out before his match against Taylor Fritz because of an unfortunate knee injury.

While recovering, the Aussie took out some time to answer the questions of his fans. Kyrgios had a fun question-answer round with his fans on Instagram. Here a fan asked an interesting question regarding the big three. Here’s how he answered it.

Kyrgios would like to do a movie with Roger Federer

Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer is one of the greatest tennis players of all time. The 41-year-old has garnered love across the globe because of his on-court performances and his polite nature. When a fan asked Kyrgios about the one out of tennis’ big three, he would like to pair up with for a movie, the Aussie chose Federer as his partner. Answering the question, he posted a picture of himself with the Swiss legend, which looks like a theatrical poster. Further, he wrote, “The hangover with @rogerfederer.”

The Swiss Maestro was out of action for a very long time. While his fans were eagerly waiting for the Laver Cup when he announced it to be his comeback tournament. However, they were shocked when Federer later declared it will be his last professional tournament. He paired up with his arch-rival Rafael Nadal to play in the doubles leg of the tournament. The legendary duo lost against the American pair of Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock.

Nick Kyrgios admires Roger Federer and rightly so, as the legend has an impeccable record against the Aussie. Having a look at their head-to-head records, it won’t be wrong to say that Federer has a near-perfect record. Kyrgios faced the Swiss Maestro for the first time in Madrid in 2015. Playing against the legend on clay, Kyrgios defeated him in an intense three-set match.

However, it proved to be the last victory for the Aussie against Federer. In the next six encounters, Federer stamped his authority and won all the matches. Their most recent meeting was at the Laver Cup 2019.
