Nick Kyrgios hasn’t had the smoothest of times while competing in tournaments. While he was away from the sport for over a year due to injuries, the Australian star was often engulfed in one controversy or the other. Amid frustrating times, there was one person who always backed him to come out on the top. And the person is none other than Kyrgios’ girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi.

Interestingly, it was love at first sight for the two when they first met back in 2021. Hatzi, who was selling a mirror on Instagram, had a buyer in the form of Kyrgios, who showed up at Hatzi’s doorstep. Their bond grew over time through thick and thin and the power couple recently launched a new product of the venture, Joe & The Juice.

During its launch, Kyrgios decided to do a question-and-answer session with his fans on Instagram. Amid all the interesting questions that the fans posed, one stated that Kyrgios and Hatzi were so cute together. Blushing at the fan’s statement, Kyrgios made a heartfelt confession about Hatzi, saying, “Yes, we are very cute. I’m very lucky that she’s able to follow me around the world. Again, we’re in London spending some amazing time and really grateful she’s here.” He then held up an iced coffee cup from Joe & The Juice, saying, “And we’ve had about five of these, so they’re amazing.”

Ahead of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, Kyrgios is in London to launch the new product. The Big Smash is a protein shake that is low in sugar and packed with protein. As a result, it serves taste along with health benefits.

Meanwhile, as Kyrgios has stayed away from tennis, it has been difficult at times for him to cope with injuries. Additionally, he also suffered a personal setback earlier this year as his grandmother passed away. During these times, Kyrgios received moral support from Hatzi.

Coincidently, while Kyrgios was mourning the loss of his grandmother, Yiayia, Hatzi turned a year older. The Australian tennis star expressed his range of emotions on social media. While mourning her loss, Kyrgios also wrote a birthday message for Hatzi to which she reacted by saying, “🥺🥺 I love you. Yiayia is proud of you ❤️.”

Kyrgios’ grandmother had a significant impact on the tennis star’s life. She taught him to be a better person and gave him many life lessons. Paying tribute to her, Kyrgios said, “She was an incredible person and had a habit of making everyone feel included and made sure NO ONE ever went hungry, I try to be as generous as her with my care towards others. I’m sure Yiayia would be proud of who I have become but also who I have decided to go through this life with ❤️ rest easy Yiayia.”

With Hatzi by his side, Kyrgios was able to cope with the loss of his grandmother. It goes to show how strong the bond is between Hatzi and Kyrgios, always being with each other during ups and downs.
