Throughout his career, fans and pundits have directed a lot of praise and criticism at the Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios. After getting offended by a journalist, the 27-year-old Aussie star has again become a target of sharp criticism from a slew of fans. It all started when a journalist lavished praise on the French tennis player, Adrian Mannarino, who played an amazing tweener during the United Cup. Meanwhile, he jokingly made a slight comparison between Kyrgios and Mannarino.
But Kyrgios mocked the journalist for his remarks., and he fired back at him with a blunt response. The tennis community also noted the interaction on Twitter. As a result, they slammed the Australian tennis star for getting offended by the journalist’s remarks.

The tennis community was amused when the French tennis player, Adrian Mannarino, played an incredible tweener during his match against the Argentine tennis player, Federico Coria. Notably, Mannarino is getting a lot of attention and praise from fans and the media. One such journalist on Twitter also praised the French tennis star while comparing him to Nick Kyrgios.
The journalist shared the video of Mannarino’s tweener shot with the caption, “Who needs Nick Kyrgios when you have Adrian Mannarino?”

Kyrgios, who is known for playing similar trick shots, responded to the journalist’s remarks. The Australian tennis star mocked him by saying, “Haha this is a joke right? 🤭 don’t see no episode on mannarino tryna grow the sport dummy”

The 27-year-old believes that he is the one on the ATP tour who is trying “to grow the sport”. However, a slew of fans were not impressed with Kyrgios’ blunt response.

Later on, the journalist also took note of Kyrgios’ response to his post. He further replied by saying, “Needless to say Nick, I literally cannot think of a more different player from you than Adrian Mannarino. 🤣”
The journalist clarified that it was just a joke and not a criticism of the Australian tennis player. He said, “That’s kind of the joke…. NK is the most famous tweenerista in the game while Mannarino is most famous for having the loosest strung racket on tour.”

Nevertheless, fans were relentless in criticizing the Aussie star.
