Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis set up an all-Aussie final
Both doubles pairings held their serve in the first set. Thus, the first set went into the tiebreak, where the Aussie pair of Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis proved superior.
Moreover, even Rod Laver himself was in attendance, expressing his appreciation for the home players as they broke their opponents’ serve in the tiebreak.
