Nick Kyrgios shares his take on work-life balance

The Wimbledon finalist shared a video from his Instagram account discussing work-life balance, noting that some famous people such as Steve Jobs, among others, never had such an opportunity. That forced them to focus solely on their careers to succeed, the video emphasizes. However, the tennis star disagreed with not having a work-life balance and made his point clear by sharing his philosophy of hard work.

He wrote on his story, “Fact… . I’ve never understood why people just assume they deserve it or need it… . You get what you give!”

This is not the first time the Wimbledon finalist has made a blunt revelation about what he wants in life. The 27-year-old is quite open about his mental health and the depression that he went through a few years back, which made him realize the importance of having proper family time – after giving adequate time to one’s profession.

When Kyrgios’ depression brought him closer to his family

Last year, the badboy opened up on an Instagram post about his darkest period, when people thought that he was doing okay mentally and physically, but he was at his lowest. He opened up about how he was having suicidal thoughts 3 years ago.

Kyrgios also talked about how he was lonely, depressed and negative in such a way that he kept his own family and friends away. However, he shared how his near and dear ones were the only people who got him out of his worst situation.
