Rafael Nadal to lock horns against Carlos Alcaraz

Recently, Netflix announced that it will stream its next live sports event. It is The Netflix Slam, an exhibition match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz. It is a one-night special event that is set to take place inside Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Fans have a great opportunity to watch two generational talents go head-to-head against each other. Tickets for the event start at $88 plus applicable service charges. They go on sale to the public on Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. PST via www.axs.com. Further, other players for the event will be announced by Netflix in the coming days.

Nadal has talked highly about his compatriot in the past. The legendary Spaniard has been in awe of Alcaraz’s rise while he was missing from the tennis circuit. Recently, he revealed a wish about Alcaraz for the 2024 season.

Rafael Nadal wants to team up with Carlos Alcaraz

The 2024 season is the year of the Paris Olympics. As far as tennis is concerned, exciting matchups are set to take place in both, singles as well as doubles. Spanish legend, Rafael Nadal, revealed his wish to play with Alcaraz at the Paris Olympics.

Talking about this, he said, “Regarding playing doubles with Carlos, I have not had the slightest conversation with him in that regard. But I would also like to. It would be a good motivation, another incentive for me to be able to close my Olympic cycle playing with Carlos.”
