Andy Murray, the British tennis professional, has won several matches. Infact, the Brit is considered one of the best tennis player. However, there is a clumsy side to the former World No.1 that only reveals itself off the court.
Murray’s forgetful nature is unknown to none. He lost his wedding ring last year while competing in Indian Wells, which he eventually collected from the lost and found department of the hotel. However, this time, he is not at fault.

Andy Murray Lost His Racket
Andy Murray, while traveling to Spain for his first clay-based tournament of the year in Madrid, lost his head tennis racket and equipment. Thereafter, the Brit requested Iberian airlines to help him retrieve his goods. Although his bags might not be as important as his wedding ring, they are vital for upcoming tournament. Therefore, he wrote, “what number or email should passengers use to contact for missing baggage? I need my tennis rackets back.”

After receiving his equipments back, the Brit has started practising for the Mutua Madrid Open 2022. Speaking of Madrid Open, Andy recently suffered a great deal of backlash for taking a wild card entry to the main draws of the event. Several tennis entities and fans were furious at him for taking the spot in major events repeatedly. However, after Andy’s befitting response, the fire has died out.
Murray’s Clay Based Glories
Andy Murray, before getting plagued by a hip injury in 2019, was excelling on the clay courts. From 2005 up till 2015, Andy had a winning percentage of 63 percent. But 2015 was the year Murray cracked the code to clay-court victories. He conquered two consecutive clay-based tournaments within two weeks.

First, he reigned at Munich Open by beating Philipp Kohlschreiber, the German tennis ace in a rain-soaked three hour-long final. Following that, he defeated the king of clay Rafael Nadal in his home at Madrid Open 2015.
