Pickleball is quickly becoming one of the most popular sports in the United States. The major difference between pickleball and tennis is that the former is served underarm as opposed to tennis’ overhand serve. Earlier, SpringHill company’s CMO revealed that he had beaten Draymond Green convincingly in a pickleball match.

Paul Rivera, the CMO of a $765 million company, SpringHill, was earlier seen speaking to Time about his pickleball victory and his upper hand over the NBA legend LeBron James and his fellow players, Draymond Green and Kevin Love.
“You can say that in bold, because that would be a fact. I always joke with Draymond, that if we competed at 1,000 things, he would absolutely kick my a** in 999 of them. Pickleball is somewhat of the great equalizer,” he said.

LeBron James and his fellow players have been firm supporters of this tennis-inspired sport, pickleball. In addition, the NBA legend, along with the likes of Paul Rivera, Draymond Green, Kevin Love, and a few others, has recently bought a team in Major League Pickleball (MPL) as well.
History of tennis-inspired pickleball
Pickleball is a sport that was founded in the 1960s by a group of three people in the United States. It is an intriguing hybrid of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton. This game is played on a court the size of a badminton court, with a net that is 2 inches lower than a tennis net.

In terms of rules, it’s similar to tennis, but it’s much easier on the body. It doesn’t take long to get the hang of this sport; a few minutes of practice will get you up and running. It’s a faster-paced game than tennis, and anyone can play it, regardless of age.
