World No.1 Novak Djokovic failed to accomplish his Calendar Slam at the US Open 2021. The Serbian legend lost to Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the finals, who also ended his 27-match winning streak at the Grand Slams. Thus, he is currently tied with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the Grand Slam tally.
Renowned comedian and voice-over artist, Elliot Loney, recently made a video after the end of the US Open 2021. Famous for doing the mimicry of tennis players, he described how some tennis players would have reacted on Djokovic’s defeat at the US Open 2021. He first disguised himself as Rafael Nadal and shared a message.

“Hello everybody, this is Rafa Nadal. Obviously, I want to congratulate my good friend, Novak Djokovic, on winning the US…” said Loney when he was suddenly interrupted. He got to know that Djokovic actually lost the match and then he had to alter his speech.
Loney clearly wanted to portray that Nadal was in a way, prepared to congratulate Djokovic since he knew that he would win. However, to his surprise, that didn’t take place.

As and when Loney’s Nadal comes to know that Djokovic lost the US Open 2021 title, he suddenly becomes cheerful. Even though he says that he and Roger Federer are really upset for his loss, his expressions reveal something else- as if he is really happy. He was clearly trying to make fun of Nole and was saying all this sarcastically.
“I am so sorry, you lost the Novak. That is terrible news for me. Myself and Roger are so upset that you lost. That was the worst news,” added Looney in his role.
