‘My GOAT Might Not Be Your GOAT’- Roger Federer Receives Solid Backing From Good Friend Lindsey Vonn

American former Alpine Skier Lindsey Vonn took a dig at her statement about Roger Federer. Vonn went to skiing with Federer and his family. After noticing the Swiss tennis legend’s mindblowing skills in the sport, she called Federer the GOAT. Now this compliment didn’t suit well with Novak Djokovic fans as they humiliated Vonn very much. Even tennis fans were surprised to see so much hatred towards Vonn’s comment.

While Lindsey Vonn initially deleted her tweet, she responded by posting a similar one. Now this World champion skier finally spoke about what she meant by GOAT when she added the compliment for Roger Federer.

In her recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Vonn explained her feelings behind her compliment about Federer. Vonn wrote- “GOAT or greatest of all time is a subjective title. What makes someone great? Is it statistics? Is it records? Is it impact? Is it character? Is it all of the above? People have differences of opinion and that’s OK. My goat might not be your goat and there will always be a debate but opinions are just that, opinions, and everyone is entitled to them.”

Lindsey Vonn is correct in her opinion as for her Federer can truly be the Greatest of all Time. Since there are no statistics of parameters to denote who is the GOAT, Vonn didn’t make any mistake when she termed Federer as the great.

The way Djokovic fans humiliated her for calling Federer GOAT shows the fanbase’s lack of knowledge and sheer ignorance of Federer’s contribution to tennis. It was great to see Lindsey Vonn taking charge of her statement and replying to the trolls with a befitting response.
