Sir Richard Branson, the name sure does ring a bell in everybody’s mind. The founder of The Virgin Group is back again with the ‘Annual Necker Cup’. And like always, the extravagant tournament is bound to attract some big names of the tennis world. Tennis fans probably will remember the 2013 edition of the Necker Cup, where Rafael Nadal was also a part of this opulent tennis competition.

Which players will grace this year’s edition of Necker Cup on the Billionaire’s 74-acre Necker Island?
Vasek Pospisil and Del Potro all set for the Necker Cup
The Necker Cup has confirmed the presence of Canadian Star Vasek Pospisil, and the Argentine Tennis player Juan Martin del Potro for this year’s edition. ‘The World’s Most Exclusive Tennis Pro-Am’ is a six-day event, pairing 16 WTA/ATP players with 16 amateur teams for charity purposes. In addition to tennis, the players usually have the time of their life, as they enjoy the company of the business magnate and multi-billionaire Richard Branson at his extravagant property.
Giving a glimpse of his day, the Canadian and World No.99, Pospisil?said, “We weren?t that fired up to get the?@neckercup?title.. no big deal ??.?@mikekosloske??s of steel and 3peat Champ!!”

Whereas, Del Potro seemed bit more focused on working out, as he posted a snapshot with Branson, stating, “Lindos momentos con mi amigo. ???? ???Qui?n creen que gano?”

As these two players team up for charitable causes, one cannot discount the presence of one of the Big 3 at the Necker Cup’s 2013 edition. The blockbuster collab has certainly contributed to a better friendship between the tennis legend and the business magnate.?

When Rafael Nadal and Richard Branson shared the court at the 2013 Necker Cup
Branson once visited the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy at the tennis icon’s hometown in Manacor, where he could not help but reminisce the time when the two shared the court; at the Billionaire’s ‘Virgin Island’ itself. Moreover, Rafa was part of that year’s Necker Cup too.?

The business magnate shared one of the moments that lead up to Rafa teaming up with him against the pair of Jimmy Buffet and Mike Bryan. Consequently, the results didn’t surprise anyone, as the team of Branson and Rafa won the contest.?
