Nick Kyrgios has always been in the mix of things, even when he is not playing. Despite being out of action since the beginning of the season, Kyrgios’ social media presence has kept fans up to date with his daily life. The Australian star took his sarcasm game to a whole new level with some of his recent tweets where he hinted at a potential coaching career.

For someone who has been coachless for the better part of his career, this does come off as a shock. In fact, Kyrgios had also turned down Novak Djokovic‘s offer to coach him not long ago.

Nick Kyrgios comes up with a series of tweets about coaching

Nick Kyrgios stunned his followers with a simple tweet about coaching. The Aussie tweeted, “Thinking about coaching, any takers” which gained a lot of traction. Several big names responded to the tweet with further sarcasm, knowing Kyrgios’ nature. Ben Stiller was one of those respondents and the American actor had a friendly exchange with the Australian on Twitter.

However, the recent tweets from Kyrgios might have suggested that he was somewhat serious about taking up a coaching career. The fact that he reached the Wimbledon final without a coaching team does suggest that Kyrgios is good at doing a coach’s homework. For someone who does not want to extend his playing career after a certain point, coaching does seem to be a great option.

The 22-time major champion, Novak Djokovic had hinted that he would like to coach Nick Kyrgios at some point.

It would be really interesting to see if Kyrgios takes up an early coaching career or hires Djokovic as his coach at some point in his career. There is a good possibility for either of these events to come true, especially after the latest tweets of Kyrgios.
