The wait is finally over! World Number 1, Novak Djokovic will be back in action after missing the Miami Open last month. The Serb is facing a turbulent time as on and off-court results have gone against him in 2024. While he suffered early exits at the Australian Open and the Indian Wells Masters, Djokovic also separated from his long-time coach, Goran Ivanisevic. Nonetheless, he’ll be rearing to go on Day 2 of the Monte Carlo Masters, which features an action-packed schedule, including German sensation Alexander Zverev and Italian Matteo Berrettini.
The ATP 1000 tournament is the first Masters tournament on clay this year. Although a non-primary event, most of the top players are participating to gear up for the ultimate showdown at Roland Garros, and even the Paris Olympics this year. Fans are expected to be on the edge of their seats as Day 2 has some exciting clashes.
