With a remarkable 98 ATP singles titles and a number 1 ranking, Novak Djokovic has etched his position as a legendary figure in the sporting realm. Toiling behind the Serbian tennis star since his first Grand Slam triumph was his manager, Edoardo Artaldi who worked with ‘Djoker’ for 13 seasons. However, after parting ways with the 24-time singles Grand Slam champion in the previous season, Artaldi recently made a shock move.

According to the Telegraf in Serbia, the Italian agent has already found a new client on the ATP Tour after his split with the Serb in the 2023 season. Edoardo Artaldi has now joined Djokovic’s Italian opponent, Lorenzo Musetti’s team, and he will be representing him going forward. As he has established himself in the top echelons of the game, the 22-year-old player is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that he meets his potential, which includes enlisting his compatriot as his manager this season.

Coincidentally, after teaming up with the Serb’s former agent, Musetti will now mark an on-court meeting with Djokovic. In the round of 16 of the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters, the Italian player will square off against the number-one-seeded Serbian. Speaking about his split with Artaldi, the ‘Djoker’ previously issued a heartfelt statement.
