Today was a remarkable day for Roger Federer’s fans as he gave them a moment they will always remember. He surprised them with an epic appearance in front of his 12,000 fans at the Super10 fight in Zurich. This left the 42-year-old’s fans in awe of his personality and aura.

The Swiss maestro entered the wrestling event and left with everyone praising him for this surprise. And now we just got to know that moments before this epic gesture of his, he also engaged with some of the young athletes who are sponsored by his parents’ organization. He just keeps getting better.

Right before surprising his fans, Roger Federer engages in a profound conversation with young kids

Roger Federer and his parents have been sponsoring a huge number of kids to support their passions and careers via Swiss Sports Aid. In an attempt to motivate and inspire them, he made a visit, leaving them all surprised right before he made an appearance at the wrestling event. It was not a formal event but a casual chit-chat with the kids who were also treated to pizza.

During the event, he said said, “I am your biggest fan. I hear about your successes and also about injuries. I know there are hard days – but that also builds character. We have always made sure that the talent comes from less well-off backgrounds. This is still a big concern for us today.”

Through his organization, Federer wants to ensure that children from underprivileged communities do not stay behind if they have the talent and the hunger to succeed. So, he makes sure to provide them with the necessary resources.

Swiss Maestro’s life after tennis is all about helping people

Roger Federer and his family spent a lot of time in charity work through his foundation, the Roger Federer Foundation. His foundation, to date, has helped over 2.5 million children in Switzerland and Southern Africa. They help them mostly by providing quality education.

He even traveled to Lesotho, where his parents and his children joined him, to see the good work he’s done via the foundation. After the trip, he shared that he was really happy that his children took so much interest in charitable work.
