The clash between Jarry and Wild became a spectacle to watch as both players showed their best performances. The bout at the Hard Rock Stadium started with Jarry losing the first set to Wild. However, the Chilean would turn it around without much difficulty. Throughout the match, viewers from home could see the crowd in the audience going wild at each point.

As the match ended, the audience screamed in celebration for Jarry, and they stood up and cheered. As he went up to shake the hands of his opponent, one could sense the tension. While happy about the win, Jarry would go on to argue with the umpire, and some speculated why he argued with the umpire.

After the handshake, Jarry went up to the chair umpire and was seen talking to him harshly. While it wasn’t clear what he argued about, some fans speculated about why he was fighting with them. 

One fan said the umpire let Wild go to the towel section many times during Jarry’s serve. But when Jarry did the same once, the umpire yelled at him. “The umpire let Thiago go to the towel section many times during Jarry’s serve. The one time Jarry did that, he was scolded by the umpire. So he was complaining that the umpire treated them differently.

Another fan exclaimed that it was his lack of control over the audience during serves. “He complained about him for forcing him to serve when the Brazilian public shouted at him during the serve, but he did not force Seyboth to serve when the opposite happened.”
