Last year, Carlos Alcaraz caused a major upset at the US Open. He knocked out the third seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas, in the third round. It was a thrilling contest, going down right to the wire. However, the Spaniard prevailed in the deciding set tiebreaker to win one of the biggest matches of his career back then.
Further, Alcaraz is in scintillating form this season. He clinched the Rio Open title earlier this year.
