To reach the last round, Jannik Sinner outlived Hugo Gaston, Karen Khachanov (14), Emil Ruusuvuori, Alexander Bublik (32), and Roberto Bautista Agut (7). Funnily enough, Bublik told the Italian teenager that he was “not human” after losing to him.
However, Hubert Hurkacz survived a much more difficult draw than his next opponent. He defeated Denis Kudla, Denis Shapovalov (6), Milos Raonic (12), Stefanos Tsitsipas (2), and Andrey Rublev (4) to make it to the final.

Sinner vs Hurkacz: Head-to-Head
The 2021 Miami Open final is the first time Sinner and Hurkacz will meet on a tennis court. Unquestionably, there could not be a better stage for them than the Sunshine Masters tournament. On an interesting note, they experienced what it was playing as doubles at the Dubai Open this year.

Sinner vs Hurkacz: Prediction
The 24-year-old Polish professional has a big serve and has used it effectively in Miami. Previously, he had an underlying issue with consistency, but that does not seem to be the case in 2021.
Hurkacz also strategizes his game to put his opponent in the defensive zone behind the baseline. Afterward, he swiftly moves forward and dominates the flow of the point. Above all, his menacing artillery is his power, which will be seen in Miami for one last time this year.
Unlike Hurkacz, Sinner is more of an all-court player who requires long rallies to find his way in the point. However, he will run toe-to-toe against the Polish in terms of power.
The Italian teenager has the undying spirit of a competitor. Even though he looks out of breath and energy, he does not stop until the last minute.
Both of them have one hand on the trophy already. But to win the Masters final, they will need to come up with something special. Whoever ends up the winner, a night full of talent, technique, and tennis will be on display in Miami one more time on 4 April 2021.
