Boris Becker had an eventful 2022. After claiming bankruptcy, the former German tennis star had to serve a prison term for hiding assets. Boris Becker to earn big in an interview
Although Becker is out of jail now, his problems have not ended. The former tennis star can not travel to England again and also lost his job as a commentator. While his future looks uncertain, the German has gotten some relief as he landed a big deal that is focused on an interview.
As reported by the Sun, the former world number 1 is set to earn a huge sum of 500000 Euros for an interview that will be telecasted soon.
Notably, the interview will be partially in English and the rest in German. This will facilitate the broadcasters to cater to the audience in both Germany and the UK. The earnings from this interview will be a big aid for Becker after losing his regular source of income. Earlier in 2017, Becker declared bankruptcy. In this condition, he was liable to disclose all his assets. However, the German failed to do so. This resulted in a two and half year prison term for the former tennis star.
Later, the sentence was revised as per the scheme available for foreign nationals serving their period in the US Prison.
Becker plans to propose to his girlfriend

After coming out of prison, Becker is all set to propose to his girlfriend, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. She has stood strong with Becker in challenging times. The German will be looking forward to starting a new journey and his close friends suggested that the German tennis legend is going to marry for the third time soon.
The 55-year-old started his tennis career back in 1988 and retired with six Grand Slam titles to his name. He was among the top players of his time and retired in 1999.
