Taylor Fritz is no different, and his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, shared an essential expense all tennis players have to make. 

Riddle flies with Fritz all year and has been on many flights with him. She also learned an essential lesson on one flight, while travelling between different countries.

Fritz, like every other player, has to travel around the world to play in tournaments. Players don’t usually travel alone and have their medical team and coaches with them; some also have their partners. With such an entourage traveling the world, many would believe their tickets are covered by someone. However, Morgan Riddle recently took to her Instagram story to clear the air on the matter.

Through a Q&A on her Instagram, a follower asked her if the flight tickets were covered by tournament organizers. Riddle uploaded a picture of Fritz wearing an overcoat over shorts and wrote, “No, players pay for theirs & everyone else’s flights lol 🤑”. This expense, along with accommodation, reveals that tennis players have to spend a large sum if they want to make something of their tennis careers.

For Riddle, travelling around on flights has become second nature. She accompanies Fritz to most of his tournaments and has even learned some horrific truths about the aviation industry.

Morgan Riddle often engages with her fans on social media and shares tidbits from her life as a WAG. Earlier in 2023, she shared a story of her telling an air hostess she did not want anything to drink or eat on a flight. The hostess leaned in to whisper to her that she made a good choice. Since then, she has chosen not to opt for buying a meal during a flight as the interaction stayed with her.

Riddle has chosen to have her fill of food and water before the flight takes off and has electrolyte packets if required. Since she travels around often, one can use her tips for themselves and find that there might be a good chance it will work for them.
