World No.4 Alexander Zverev is creating new benchmarks on the ATP Tour. Recently, he seized his landmark 300th ATP win over Alex De Minaur in the Vienna Open second round. He defeated the Australian in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. For this, Zverev’s girlfriend, Sophia Thomalla, commended his incredible accomplishment on Instagram.

Notably, none of the next-generation players have unlocked this feat, except the Austrian, Dominic Thiem. However, this achievement is indeed only a stepping stone for Zverev. That is, he will be already looking forward to winning his next match and next title on the men’s circuit.

“I started on the Tour when I was 16 years old, and now, being 24, I’m still quite young, so I’m quite happy to have this achievement at an early stage in my career. Hopefully, there are a lot more coming. This is definitely a massive milestone for me,” Zverev told ATPTour.com.

Furthermore, his girlfriend and German model Sophia Thomalla wrote, “Meanwhile in Vienna. Machine,” with a picture of Zverev on her Instagram story. Unquestionably, they both will be looking forward to attaining more such milestones.
