The classic sneakers from the 80s are ready to make a blast from the past. Nike released the seven-time Grand Slam champion’s signature shoes in a single white, grey, and black colorway back in 1984. However, now, with their high-end design and leather combo, ‘Complex’ revealed that Nike is ready to bring it in style.
The new Mac attack is white-based and aligned with the tournament’s all-white dress code, keeping Wimbledon hues in mind. Not only might the white base remind you of Wimbledon, but it also represents the signature colors of the tournament’s official logo.
Just like the way purple and green dominate the logo of the tournament, with a white base, the shoe incorporates these two colors. The colors appear profoundly on the collar, heel, and swooshes, and the same color palette is used to fill a checked tongue tag with Nike written on it.
Along with that, a green midsole stitch and the rubber outsole give a perfect finish to the overall look of the pair of shoes. But the biggest question is whether or not the shoes are out for tennis fans to channel their inner McEnroe version from the 80s.
