

Spanish tennis player Pablo Carreno Busta, who won the Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics this year, sprung up a surprise to tennis fans with the news of his marriage. The ATP tour’s Spanish Twitter account posted a congratulatory message to Pablo and Claudia.

Pablo also took to his Instagram to announce his marriage by posting an adorable photo with his wife.

Tennis world and fellow players are yet to react to the news and from the looks of it, the wedding appeared to have been a private affair with friends and family of both the bride and groom.
There are not much details available regarding Pablo’s wife Claudia at the moment. Looking back at the Spaniard’s 2021 season, after initial jitters, Pablo found his way during the clay season by winning the Andalucia Open.

Pablo won the Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics this year
Also, at Barcelona, Pablo reached the semi-finals, where he faced Rafael Nadal. Pablo lost in straight sets to Rafa. Pablo’s big title win of the year came in Hamburg as he overpowered the likes of Dusan Lajovic, Federico Delbonis, and Filip Krajinovic to clinch the ATP 500 title.

But, the Spaniard’s significant moment came at the Tokyo Olympics this year, where he defeated the likes of Daniil Medvedev, Marin Cilic, and world no.1 Novak Djokovic to claim the bronze medal.

After the opening round defeat at the US Open, Pablo reached the finals at ATP Moselle Open and was defeated by Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets. The Spaniard’s campaign ended at Paris Masters where he lost in the third round to Frenchman Hugo Gaston.
