Australian professional tennis player Nick Kyrgios recently lost to Reilly Opelka in the first round of the National Bank Open 2021. Even though he gave a tough fight, the American made an incredible comeback and defeated him in three sets. The final scoreline of the match was 4-6, 7(7)-6(4), 6-4.
Now, in a recent interview with Tennis TV, Nick Kyrgios revealed the name of his best friend on the ATP Tour. Interestingly, he wanted to play somewhat safe and thus, took the names of quite a few tennis players.

“My best friend on tour, well, I know if I say one in general, a couple of others are going to be upset,” began Kyrgios in the interview. “So, I’ll say a few top of my head. Jack Sock, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Jordan Thompson, Frances Tiafoe, Gael Monfils.”
Kyrgios mentioned that Sock, Thanasi, Thompson, Tiafoe, and Monfils are some of the great friends that he has made on the tour. All these players are at the top of his list.

“A little place for Jack”- Nick Kyrgios
Kyrgios stated that he has got a lot of friends on the ATP tour, and he apologized in case he had forgotten to take any of the names in the interview. He also highlighted the name of Jack Sock once again clearly implying that the American holds a special place in his heart.

“I’ve got a lot of friends on tour, but those are like my top tier. If I’m missing one, I’m sorry. A little place for Jack though,” added the Australian.
