Rafael Nadal’s recent update given by coach receives backlash

The former world number one-ranked tennis player suffered an early setback in his comeback due to a muscle tear during his competitive run in Brisbane. But after shipping back from the Australian Open, his coach recently talked about how he is ready to make a comeback and how they have planned this year in a less surface-change manner, just for Rafa.

Along with that, he also said, “Rafa reminded me of a bull that has been locked up for a year, you release it and it goes like a beast. He will be a candidate to win the tournaments he plays.”

After these words went out on Twitter, a lot of tennis fans dropped nasty comments and shared their opposite opinions over this prospect. A fan joked how the 37-year-old would get injured on the court, “He’ll get injured again within 5 matches.”

On the other hand, a fan highlighted how his comeback can be a “big mistake.”

Not only that, another fan made a direct comment about how Rafa should take a step back from tennis: “Time to retire”

Moreover, a fan went against the planned strategy of taking it slow till the clay season. He wrote, “Is moya dumb? Why not skip the hard court season and go to clay”

Subsequently, another fan made fun of Nadal and his comeback and twisted the words that were said by Moye. He stated, “Hahaha a bull locked up? More like a balloon loosing air… he chose to not unleash himself at the Australian open when he was clearly fine…”
