The organization uses sport and education to empower over 1,000 vulnerable young people in Spain and India. Along with the Rafael Nadal Foundation, other organizations and programs like Bola Pra Frente, ISF Cambodia, Dancing Grounds, Justice Desk Africa, and Obiettivo Napoli were also nominated.

Nadal, who has often been nominated for the Laureus Award, will be thrilled to find his organization among the reckoning to win an award this year. Nadal said, “We celebrate 10 years, although it is a little longer. We decided to start with the Foundation 11 years ago. The reason is always to try to help, to give back to society for all the luck we have and how well life has treated us.”
