2022 is coming to an end and the Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, is all set to surpass the highest prize money ever received by any tennis player. The former world number one had a fabulous tennis season, where he won this year’s Wimbledon Championship. Nevertheless, the tennis star’s fans cannot control their emotions over one of his recent achievements.

After defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the current ATP finals tournament, the 21-time Grand Slam champion is ready to capture his sixth ATP finals championship. Djokovic did compete in the last three tennis competitions, which were the Tel Aviv Open, Asthana Open, and Paris Masters. These two out of the three competitions were easy victories.

Even if he snaps his winning streak in the ATP Finals, Novak Djokovic is still on track to eclipse the $160 million in career prize money. The only tennis player in ATP and WTA history to earn more than $140 million in career earnings is the 21-time Grand Slam champion.

The former no.1 may be ranked eighth in the world according to the ATP rankings, but when it comes to the topic of career prize money, he clearly outperforms the top players.
