Rafael Nadal has shared the idea that he might retire after the 2024 season but has not confirmed anything about his career yet. His primary focus is on Roland Garros, and after that, it is anybody’s guess. He has talked about his possible retirement since early 2023. After coming back this year, he had to withdraw from many tournaments once again, because of injuries.

He recently spoke to the press about his plans after the season and once again announced that he might retire after 2024. Many fans, who were sad in the past, are now annoyed with Nadal’s announcements.

Since he stepped back from tennis after the 2023 Australian Open, Rafa has fans worried about his retirement. After many interviews and announcements, his followers are no longer willing to indulge themselves in any more speculations.

Rafael Nadal said, “This is going to be my last year but I don’t confirm it 100%. I will go day by day. I’ll say it before Roland Garros. I give myself a few months of caution. You know that things can happen, so I can’t define things months in advance after a year without competing.” Consequently, fans showed their annoyance after reading this.

One fan gave a sarcastic comment about Rafa and said that since January 2023, he has shared more announcements than actually playing a match.

Another fan said that they were exhausted with his announcements now, and also insisted that Rafael Nadal should retire. They also said he was only trying to stay relevant through the media.

One fan pointed out how he said a similar thing in 2021 and 2022.
