Growing up in John McEnroe’s shadow was not easy

Back in 2015, when Kevin opened up about the drug case, because of which the police arrested him and he had to take rehab. He expressed how things looked quite different in his eyes. He said, “I wanted to not always be Tatum O’Neal’s or John McEnroe’s son. It changed the way people viewed you and I was always dying to be my own person.”

Further, Kevin McEnroe emphasized the fact that, when he got arrested, he was just ‘McEnroe’s dopey son,’ and nothing else in the eyes of the world.
