Jannik Sinner might be the best tennis player in the world but there’s certainly a game where he needs to practice more. Having stunned the tennis world with 2 grand slams and numerous ATP titles, he recently thought of trying his hands on golf. But, little did he know that was a horrible start. While the likes of Roger Federer and others have certainly had a smooth transition to the game, there’s something that the Italian needs to learn from him.
Jannik Sinner recently concluded the year with an exceptional run. After winning 2 Grand Slams (The US Open and the Australian Open) and notable titles like the ATP Finals, Davis Cup and others, he had the best season of his career so far. However, enjoying his time away from the courts now, he took to the golf course with his father and coach Darren Cahill. But, as soon as he was about to hit the ball with the stick, something hilarious happened.
He failed to make proper contact with the ball, which resulted in it moving just a few inches away from its original spot. Seeing the unfortunate mishap, his father and coach were in stitches. Interestingly, Sinner is not the only one who has tried his hands on golf. Roger Federer, just a few months ago posted a similar video where he tried his hands on golf.

However, just like tennis, he brought his perfectionist side into the game. With a perfect swing with his stick, he was able to make smooth contact with the ball. Unlike Sinner, he has shown that be it tennis or golf, there’s nothing he isn’t good at. Even his peers like Carlos Alcaraz, Andy Murray, and others couldn’t do anything but praise him.
“Is there something you are not good at?” said Carlos Alcaraz and “Why is this perfect”, said Eugenie Bouchard. Well, Sinner can definitely learn something from Roger. While golf might not be the perfect escape for Jannik Sinner, he certainly aced in soccer.
