Eyeing a comeback later this year, Roger Federer is trying his hardest to make a strong comeback to the tour. Recently, the Swiss legend opted to take some time off his training schedule to open a nature-oriented playground in Switzerland. After the event, some journalists asked Federer about his thoughts on Rafael Nadal’s French Open campaign.

Praising Nadal, Federer said,

Conversing with the journalist, he also asserted that he has been impressed by Nadal’s run at the French Open much before his 14th title.

The on-court engagements of Nadal and Federer
Following his quarterfinal loss to Hubert Hurkacz at last year’s Wimbledon, Roger Federer went for a surgery on his right knee. Being out of the tour ever since then, Federer is eyeing a comeback later this year. While he is expected to make a comeback at the Laver Cup, he will be making his official comeback to the tour at the Swiss Indoors Basel.
