It’s the first day of the Laver Cup 2021 and fans are really excited about the Grand Slam. Initiatd by Roger Federer and his team, the tournament could not take place last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it’s fourth edition is taking place this year, that too, in the presence of fans.

In a recent interview to CNBC’s Squawk Box just before the Laver Cup 2021, Team World’s captain, John McEnroe made quite an interesting remark about Roger Federer. While the interviewer was asking a question to the 7-time Grand Slam champion, he was taking the names of all the possible players who can be called the greatest players of all time in tennis.

Even though the interviewer took the name of Rod Laver and hinted at Roger Federer, he didn’t clearly address the Swiss Maestro. It was here when McEnroe interrupted him and said that it’s Roger only.

Even in the previous interviews, McEnroe has hailed Federer as the greatest players of all time. Even though he is captain of the opposition team, Federer loves to spend time with the American legend.
