Yesterday, the tennis world saw American tennis star Reilly Opelka beat Nick Kyrgios in a drama-filled semi-final match at the ATP Houston. The Big-serving American played an impeccable match without any major mistakes.
Meanwhile, the other big-serving American, John Isner, also reached the final of the same tournament. Before their face-off on Sunday’s final, they had a fun little banter on social media.

Reilly Opelka and John Isner engage in a fun conversation on Twitter
With the clay-court season already underway, tennis fans will see an all-American battle in the final of the ATP Houston challenger. Before the final, Reilly Opelka made a joke on Twitter about tennis fans watching a dream final between him and John Isner.
In response, Isner retweeted that, saying that the match will be similar to the final match between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Opelka wrote on Twitter, “Every tennis purist’s dream clay court final @JohnIsner.”
Then, Isner retweeted and said, “It’s basically Rafa v Novak.”

It’s worth noting that the two big-serving Americans don’t have the reputation of being great clay-court tennis players. So, that’s why they made a joke about it.
Isner vs Opelka – the battle of the big servers
36-year-old Isner has been around the tennis circuit for a while now and has loads of experience. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Opelka has just started his career and is showing great promise.
Earlier, in the semi-final match, Opelka had a great win over Aussie superstar Nick Kyrgios. After a drama in the second set, Opelka held his nerve to serve out the match in style; the final score was 6-3,7-5.

Meanwhile, John Isner also showed great composure throughout the whole tournament. In the previous rounds, he beat Frances Tiafoe and Cristian Garin to reach the final of this tournament. Today, fans could expect a serve and volley type of match, as both of them have tremendous serve.
