Novak Djokovic didn’t seem to be carrying his luck around at the Italian Open. Although the tennis star managed to get his opening match rival good with a sound victory, he barely had an idea that the danger was waiting for him in the stands. When the Serb spared some time to meet and greet his fans in the crowd, a metal bottle slipped out of a fan’s bag and hurt his head. Stepping into the court next time, he decided to keep himself protected in a witty manner.

The fans are delighted to witness glimpses of Djokovic after a long time of missing his presence on the courts. While the tennis star was welcomed with an accidental bump on his head, he didn’t back down from meeting his fans again but covered his head with a helmet as he did so.

Recently, a video started to captivate the attention of the fans in which ‘Nole’ can be seen signing autographs for fans, but this time, with a helmet to protect his head. Besides various social media pages spreading the news of the Serb’s way of entertaining his fans with a cheeky act, he himself shared an update on Instagram.
