However, the broadcasters had something else in mind. Midway through the match, they started to show Novak Djokovic‘s match which many did not like.

Taking to their social media, they came ahead and expressed their frustration. One fan came ahead and suggested that it would be better to watch Fritz play as watching Djokovic doing warm-up won’t do them any good. “So @TennisChannel it would be great to show the @Taylor_Fritz97 match instead or 20 min of Djokovic stats and I mean it’s not like we are learning anything by watching him warm-up,” said the fan who was not at all happy.

This fan clearly had enough of the authorities and did not hold his words back as he straightaway slammed them. “@TennisChannel every day such a joke with the coverage. The #1 American Taylor Fritz mid match and you just leave the match to go watch Djokovic warm up…? Who decides this stuff? They need to wake up please. This is so dumb,” said the fan who was not at all happy with the way things went.

This fan was also surprised by their actions and took to Twitter to post a GIF which had the caption, “what are you doing.” This came out of pure frustration.

This fan also shared his sadness about not being able to witness the top American player in action. “Of course now @TennisChannel dumps Taylor’s match for joker. Wtf,” said the fan in clear disappointment.

Last, but not least, this fan also shared his disappointment by saying that clearly, the broadcasters were not very good at showing support for their top players. “not very good at supporting their top player,” said the fan in pure anger while he had to compromise with Novak Djokovic in action.

Thus, the fans were clearly not happy after they saw such blunders being made by the tennis broadcasters. However, this is not the first time that this thing has happened. There are multiple instances when fans have come together to slam the concerned authorities over the same like the one in Madrid Open.
