Rafael Nadal is set to return to the sport at Brisbane International in 2024. His comeback is highly anticipated, with many tennis personalities weighing in about what he could achieve. His uncle also recently talked about his game and said that he will play the full calendar year instead of a shortened one. Novak Djokovic fans read the statement and were not happy with what was said by Rafa’s childhood coach.
Rafa’s uncle has often been at odds with the Djoker fans. One can see several instances where his comments blow up and serve to upset the fans of the 24-time grand slam champion.

Toni Nadal recently talked about his nephew’s return to professional tennis. The King of Clay has been out since January, and he is about to return to the sport and set fire to it one last time. Toni said that if he wasn’t healthy, he would stop at the Olympics or the French Open. But if he was healthy, he would finish the calendar year. His comment did not go well with fans of the Djoker as they went on to hound the comments.
One big fan of the Djoker sarcastically said that people should stop what they’re doing because Rafa was going to win all slams in 2024.

Another fan asked users to stop everything and said that they were witnessing a statement that said that he would be injury-free and 100% healthy. Therefore, if he loses, there won’t be any excuses.

One user said that it was difficult to believe after seeing Rafa’s training sessions. They further wondered if Toni Nadal was delusional or if he had wishful thinking.

This is not the first time Djokovic fans have rushed in to defend their favorite player against the statement of Toni Nadal. The last time it happened was when Toni was talking about surfaces.

Djokovic fans smoke Toni Nadal
Nadal’s childhood coach and his uncle, Toni, are always at the forefront to defend his nephew. When talking about grand slam tallies, Toni said that it was unfair to his nephew as he has to play three slams on surfaces that don’t suit him and one on a surface that is to his advantage. As usual, his comments did not settle well with Djokovic fans.

Some mocked him by saying if Roland Garros was on grass, Rafa would be a nobody. One fan used Rafa’s own words when he said, “If, if, if… doesn’t exist”. Since he coaches Felix Auger-Aliassime, some suggested he focus on him. Djokovic fans are always at the forefront to defend their favorite. They have also shown that they will go a step beyond to make sure their star receives no hate.
