The crowd at the Rod Laver Arena is witnessing something historical. Young Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner, who was being considered as one of the top contenders, is currently dominating Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals match. Leading with a score of 6-1,6-2 already, the 22-year-old seems to have all the odds in his favor.

But this is all new for Novak Djokovic. As the tennis legend has won all the 10 semi-finals that he played at the AO courts, this situation seems to be out of his hands. Analyzing the factors behind this lag, it is revealed that Djokovic has played all of his semi-finals during the night, finding a difference this time as the match is being played during the day.

As the perspective points towards Novak Djokovic’s expertise in dominating through the night hours, it seems like scheduling was a major factor in his win strategy which unluckily didn’t fall in his favor this time. However, has Sinner’s mindset helped him at this important match against the Serb?
