Incredible shot on Day 3 of the Australian Open
In the second round match between no.19 seed from Spain, Pablo Carreno Busta, and Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherland, the world saw something incredible. In the 3rd set, Griekspoor tried to hit an overhead smash, but he miss-timed it pretty badly. The ball fell onto Carreno Busta’s side of the court but came spinning back to Griekspoor’s court.
Is it legal?

Many players would have given up on the point. But the Spaniard didn’t, and he ran furiously to get the ball. He had to go around the net to his opponent’s court to hit the ball and win the point. The Spaniard practically didn’t have any choice but to go to his opponent’s court to win the point.
Fortunately, Carreno Busta didn’t touch the net, otherwise, he would have lost the point. Many fans on social media are questioning the legality of the shot, while some can’t help but praise it.
What if he hit it straight into the net on the opponent's side? Still good as long as it bounces in?

Lol the simplest shot he's ever played

Ok I get that it’s legal to hit the ball into after it crosses over. But what if he doesn’t touch it at all? Is it still point to the opposition?

Everyone wanted to try that at least once in their life…. He did it
