Andrey Rublev is having a dream run at the ongoing Australian Open. He has made it to the last eight after defeating the local hero, Alex de Minaur, in a thrilling five-set contest. The World Number 5 is looking to win his maiden Grand Slam title and is a strong contender for it. While he is shining on the court, Rublev has quite a bright personal life with his long-time girlfriend.

Rublev has seldom talked about his romantic life. While he likes to do the talking on the court, he has the strong support of his girlfriend behind the scenes. But who is his lady love?

The Russian tennis star, known to be a very shy player, is dating his longtime girlfriend, Anastasija Homutova. The latter is a tennis professional like Rublev and also a part-time coach and model. She has a career-high ranking of 1106. Like Rublev, Homutova is also a humble person who likes to stay away from the limelight.

As a result, Homutova and her relationship with Rublev are usually kept on the down low, especially since the two seldom share glimpses of their time together on social media platforms.

Although Homutova is of Latvian nationality, she grew up in Moscow, Russia. This is also the hometown of Rublev and the two met during a practice session at an event in 2016. Love at first sight, as one may call it, the two struck an instant bond on their first meeting.
