Is Zverev's performance truly dependent on Sophia Thomalla's support from the stands?

Love is in the air in every nook and corner of the street in the ‘City of Love’! The 2024 Paris Masters is underway, and Alexander Zverev looks in supreme touch at the moment! He has already secured his place in the SF by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in his previous match. Zverev reached the final of this tournament in 2020. Can he make it to the final yet again this year? Well, for that he’d need the support of his fans! Has his biggest fan, Sophia Thomalla, travelled to Paris, though?

Well, recently Sophia Thomalla shared two posts on her IG stories. In the first one, she uploaded the scorecard of Alexander Zverev’s 7-5, 6-4 victory against Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, in the second post, she shared a glimpse of the scenic Seine River flowing through the heart of the streets in Paris. Perhaps that’s a clear indication of her presence in the iconic city, but will she come up to the stadium to show support for her boyfriend?

She is expected to be there. How can one be in the ‘City of Love’ and not show up to support their loved ones? For those who are unaware, Alexander Zverev and Sophia Thomalla have been dating each other since 2020. They have been spotted supporting each other multiple times at various events. Thomalla, who is also a famous actress, model, and TV presenter in Germany, is often seen accompanying Zverev to several tennis tournaments. For example, we saw her in the stands during the 2024 BMW Open in Munich. Then, during the Wimbledon Championships, Thomalla was spotted at the venue donning a simple white tracksuit jacket.

However, she couldn’t make her presence felt during Alexander Zverev’s final match against Carlos Alcaraz at the 2024 French Open. Even during the Paris Olympics, the French crowd was deprived of having her magical presence on the stand. No matter she is present in stands or not, she showers constant support to Zverev.

In December 2022, she posted a sweet tribute to Zverev on IG in honor of his charity. She wrote, “@alexzverev123, you are beautiful inside and out. What you do for children with diabetes is incredible. I couldn’t be prouder of you and your @alexanderzverevfoundation 😊.” Then, during International Women’s Day in 2023, she penned down a heartfelt note for her boyfriend. She uploaded a few pictures with a heartwarming caption saying, “I can do whatever I want on an international women’s day. And I want to appreciate this guy, 🤩.”

What does Alexander Zverev say about the support he gets from his girlfriend through every thick and thin of his life?
