Just a day before his match, Rafael Nadal pulled out of the 2024 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. However, his 16-month-old son is continuing to run the show no matter where he goes. Recently, he was spotted stealing the show during the Netflix Slam event in Las Vegas. A few days later he was seen giving the fans a glimmer of joy amid the disappointing news with all his adorable activities in Indian Wells. But this time he was with a friend from the tennis world.

Italian tennis star, Jannik Sinner met Rafael Nadal’s wife, Maria Francisca Perello, and their baby son a few hours ago at the Indian Wells. Let’s take a closer look at that adorable moment.

Both Rafael Nadal and Jannik Sinner are currently in California to participate in Indian Wells. But before starting his campaign at the BNP Paribas Open, Sinner was spotted playing soccer with Nadal’s son. Fans were delighted to see this heartwarming moment. Sinner greeted the tennis legend’s family. Nadal’s wife was seen in the clip, watching keenly at the activities of her baby son.

During the soccer session, Jannik Sinner gave an assist to the little boy. But did he score? Well, the kid hilariously lifted the ball with his hand and tried to put the ball in the back of the net. His mother tried to stop him and asked him to pass the ball back to Uncle Sinner. But he looked too determined to score the sitter. 

The three-time Indian Wells champion won’t feature in the tournament this year. But the fans would now want him to at least stay here for a few days and let Rafael Nadal Jr. run the show.

Despite his father’s loss, Nadal’s son ruled the Netflix Slam event

All the limelight was on this 16-month-old son who was spotted hitting a tennis ball with a mini racket at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Everyone was excited to watch the toddler in his playful mood with her mother and other family members at the stand during the Netflix Slam.

Canadian tennis star, Ayan Broomfield couldn’t take her eyes off Rafael Nadal’s little son. She was also in attendance at that mega-event. Later on, she took to her Instagram account to post a picture of the adorable kid and wrote, “Rafael Nadal Jr. was the highlight of the event, hands down.“

During the post-match interview at the Netflix Slam, Rafael Nadal revealed his feelings about seeing his son watch him play. He said, “It’s great, no? I mean, watching him there is… I think it’s a great inspiration. Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t know anything,” Nadal joked about his son’s well-behaved conduct during his match and added that his son is quite active and prefers moving around than sitting still.
