The wait for Rafael Nadal fans has come to an end once again. After another hiatus from the ATP Tour, Rafa will finally return to the court. The King of Clay first went on a hiatus in 2023 and returned earlier this year. But he sustained another injury and announced another break prior to the Australian Open. Now, the wait is over once again.
Nadal’s hiatus came as a surprise. He played well in Brisbane, but found himself eliminated in the quarterfinal. After the match, he revealed that a micro tear in his muscle will elude him from best of 5 sets format, hence he would not play in the Australian Open. But, he is back in best of 3.
